What Products do I Need to Start my Own Internet Business?

This question goes through everybody's mind at one time or another. Is it going to be expensive? Yes, it can be. Does it have to be expensive? Absolutely not.

If you are a do it yourself type of person these products will be for you. If you are starting a home business you probably can not afford to pay somebody thousands of dollars to build your site. My site is dedicated for those whom want to go about it on their own.  If you want to pay somebody to build your site a couple of these products may still come in handy. This is where I will be different from the others. I only have a few products that I am offering myself plus I am going to give you links to products which I do not sell but I recommend very highly. 1. Templates: A professional looking website is the most important part of any website. You want to have that corporation look that shows confidence and trust in your customers. 2. Autoresponders: One of the most important products to ever be used by internet businesses. Not only is it an easy way for your customers to keep up on current products and promotional items you may have, they are also great tools for website owners who only have general interest information, even if they are not selling anything. The two we offer are one time payments and you may use them on as many websites as you own. You may not distribute them freely to others as this will be a copyright infringement. Most autoresponders sell for $199.00 or more or you may have to pay a monthly service charge that generally runs from $10.00 to $50.00 per month depending on the amount of customers you may have. Note: Use these autoresponders appropriately, they are made to be used when a customer willfully signs up through the online form to receive the messages. 3. Contact Forms: This is definitely a very useful tool for one of two reasons. The first reason is it looks professional and you can help the customer out by guiding him to ask you the right questions. The second reason, which I like very much, is it prevents your inbox on your webmail server from being over loaded with spam. These forms have a captcha image which your customers must put in the appropriate box so that the form will go through. These prevent the spam bots out there from automatically filling out your forms and loading you with junk mail via another way. These spammers are truly amazing. 4. Powerlink Generator: This tool is mainly for those of you whom are participating in affiliate programs by having customers click on the links on your site and being redirected through companies like Linkshare, clixGalore and Commission Junction. 6. Shopping Carts: This is definitely the most important aspect of your home internet business. You need to get paid! What is the point of having an internet business if your customers have no way of paying you. The two best sources out there are PayPal and ClickBank. 7. FTP Software: This is what is used to upload your web pages to your domain host. The one I use and is highly recommended is FileZilla which can be downloaded for free. It is a freeware program.
